EPL Weekend Action

Arsene WengerArsenal host Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday, in one of the most eagerly anticipated North London derbies in years.

This season, those studying mobile gambling will agree that Spurs appear to have leap-frogged the Gunners to become the dominant force in the area, with Arsene Wenger’s men continuing their recent demise.

While all Arsenal can realistically hope for this season is a fourth place finish and qualification for the Champions’ League, Spurs have their eyes on bigger things – the Premier League title and the FA Cup.

Almost seven years ago, when Arsenal were winning their last piece of silverware, it would have been hard to imagine such a situation, but it is testament to the job Harry Redknapp has done in recent seasons that things currently stand as they do.

With home advantage, Arsenal will go into the game as favourites. Boyle Sports price them at 7/5 to come out on top, while Coral make Spurs 7/4 and the draw 2/1.

Elsewhere, Manchester City will look to strengthen their grip at the top of the table by beating Blackburn. It is a must win game for both sides, with the visitors struggling near the foot of the table.

Indeed, they face a tough task with Roberto Mancini’s side unbeaten at home in the Premier League this season. City are priced at 1/5 for the win, while Blackburn are 16/2.

Manchester United travel to Norwich on the Sunday, though, and if City happen to slip up, they will no doubt be looking to capitalise.

However, the Canaries are no pushovers at Carrow Road, despite crashing out of the FA Cup to Leicester last weekend. United are 8/15 on for the win, with Norwich available at 11/2.

Chelsea entertain Bolton with manager Andre Villas-Boas coming under increasing pressure following the team’s slip to fifth place in the Premier League. The Blues are 2/7 for the win, while Bolton are priced at 12/1.

Newcastle are enjoying an incredible season and will be looking to enhance their European qualification chances by beating Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday. The home side are 3/5 on to come out victorious, while the visitors are 11/2.

QPR and Fulham face one another in the West London derby, with Mark Hughes coming up against his former club for the first time since taking charge of Rangers. His side are 13/8 to win, while Fulham are 15/8.

West Bromwich Albion are 7/5 to beat Sunderland (11/5) while Wigan (19/10) host Aston Villa (13/8).

In the other game to take place on Sunday, Swansea are 29/10 to win when they travel to Stoke (11/10) in a game of two contrasting playing styles.

It all looks set to be a fascinating weekend of football with massive games likely to have a big impact at both ends of the table.
